Hilli Games is an independent one-man studio based in London, UK, and founded by Hugh Salway. Hilli Games focuses on quick, tactile, brain-stretching games that anyone can enjoy. Hilli has so far released five distinct daily web games spanning word play, geography and history, as well as Steal the Meal, a tabletop card game challenging players to channel their inner foodie.

Digital games
Ticktile
A fast-paced, tactile grid word game. Players race against the clock to make as many words as possible within 60 seconds, earning points for each word and bonus scores for longer words and harder letters.
Lettago
A quick-fire word puzzle in which players construct valid words from a 5x5 grid, aiming to clear all letters as quickly as they can.
Trekatrail
A border-crossing geography expedition. Players navigate step-by-step from a starting nation to a target country across five daily legs of increasing difficulty, using only shared land borders and ferry links. The game also offers custom challenge builders and country-blocking modes.
Transfiguword
A two-stage deduction word puzzle. Players solve three words from their definitions, then must use all letters from the first three words to make three more. They only find out at the very end if their word choices have been correct.
Listory
A historical connection puzzle. Given a starting era and target historical figure, players build an unbroken chain of overlapping lifespans across five categories (Leaders, Scientists, Artists, Writers, and All Figures), learning real historical trivia as they play.

Steal the Meal
A lively family card game full of sabotage and salsa, available via Etsy. Based around a deck of 50 cards, each representing a different ingredient, players must use ingredients to start and build meals. Players can steal meals from others by adding valid ingredients, while trying to protect their own culinary masterpieces from theft!
